I got a follow up email for a resume that I submitted. They had asked me to answer a few questions about my skills and experience to help them narrow down their candidates. This guy answers the questions and then he accidentally hits the reply all button, sending his answers to all the candidates for the job. I reply to his error and tell him, “hey buddy, thanks for setting the bar, next time don’t hit reply all- epic fail.” I copied and pasted his answers and sent them as my own. No i didn’t but as I was submitting my own answers, I accidentally hit the send button while mid sentence. I tried to tab in the email but instead it tabbed to the send button. Long story short, I didn’t get the job but got a nice dose of Karma. double epic fail.
